I have a pattern worked out to cover the legs in my chosen fabric and the hinge.In the pic of the legs here, I origonally had tabs made of card to sandwich between the base layers to fix it in place.

I’m worried this will be to rigid, so im going to use 2inch elastic for the tabs. They ont tear and will allow a bit of movement.
