To make the scaled up honeycomb chair, I needed to make a giant honeycomb!

I had to set up my roll of paper on a large spindal which I then mounted on wheels.

 

 

 

It took me bit of time to work out the spacing of the tape, too close and it wouldnt open, to far apart and it didnt have enough strenghth. trial an error. Many nights folding paper in front of the telly for me!!!

I needed to do this at home because I littrely folded paper for a solid weekend to make one chair!!! MIND NUMBING!!!

 

 

The perfect spacing!!! YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!

First I stick the double sisded tape using the red lines as my guide, down the full legth of the paper.Then score lightly down the paper and fold it over, pressing it on to the tape.

 

Then I do the same the other way using the black marks as my guide.
